GUI for easy creation of Xplor-NIH scripts
Written in Python with the use of Tkinter, this GUI (aka scriptMaker) finally allows beginners to quickly start using Xplor-NIH for protein structure calculations. A lot of attention was paid to user experience. Features dynamic addition/removal of widgets, saving/loading state, and ToolTips for helping guide the user. scriptMaker became part of Xplor-NIH starting with version 2.34.
You can download scriptMaker here. It is meant to run from within Xplor-NIH environment but it can also run as a standalone Python script. You should be able to run it as "python scriptMaker.py". scriptMaker has been tested on Linux, MacOS, and Windows. Some screenshots from MacOS can be seen below.
